Isilon Systems Scores Olympic Broadcaster
Seattle-based storage provider Isilon Systems reported Tuesday that the firm is supplying Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium, the official Canadian broadcaster of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, as a customer. Financial impact of the win and amount of storage covered in the deal was not announced, however, the firm said it's Isilon IQ product will be the primary repository for all of its Winter Games raw footage and video package content.
