Isilon Wins North West Group
Seattle-based data storage provider Isilon reported Thursday that it has signed North West Group, a provider of aerial mapping and geospatial services. According to Isilon, North West Group is using its NAS products to power its image processing and photogrammetric analysis. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed, however, Isislon said that North West Group deployed 15 Isilon IQ 12000x nodes, 15 Isilon IQ 12000EX extension nodes, and the Isilon IQ Accelerator -- equivalent to more than 350 TB of capacity.
