Amazon Expands Cloud Services In Europe

, the web services arm of Amazon.com, said late Monday evening that it has launched Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) in the European Union. the firm's private cloud service allows users to create their own isolated Amazon Web Services (AWS) instances through a VPN connection. The firm said that the EU support gives those customers in the region resources which will operates more closely with IT infrastructure in the EU. Amazon did not say where it is locating the services in Europe.
