Isilon Signs Visual Effects Firm
Seattle-based Isilon, a developer of NAS storage systems, said today that Mr. X Inc. visual effects studio is using its products for its post-production operations. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Mr. X Inc. is using Isilon's products to produce 3D visual effects for Disney's TRON: Legacy and Screen Gems' Resident Evil: Afterlife titles. Isilon said its products are being used as storage for a Linux compute cluster that provides high-performance rendering and animation.
