Isilon Wins Wiredrive
Seattle-based Isilon reported today that it has deployed its storage products with Wiredrive, a provider of a service for uploading, managing, and presenting files for the advertising, television motion picture, and interactive industry. Isilon said that Wiredrive has deployed its X-Series products as a replacement for a prior, open source clustered storage system. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Isilon said Wiredrive's prior storage product complicated storage management and slowed application performance.
