Seattle-based Amazon.com said Friday morning that it has added the ability to send Kindle books to others as a gift. According to Amazon, starting today, customers can email anyone a Kindle Book as a gift. Amazon said it has added a new "Give as a Gift" option to Kindle Book titles on the store, which allows those recipients to download and read a Kindle book using any of Amazon's free Kindle apps or online.
