Amazon Plans Kindle Apps For Android, Windows Tablet PCs
Seattle-based Amazon.com said today that it is planning to release a new vesrion of its Kindle reader apps, specifically aimed at new Android and Windows LCD Tablet computers. According to Amazon, it is tailoring an app specifically for those tablet PCs, similarly to how it released a Kindle app for the Apple iPad. Amazon did not say when it would release the new applications, but said the new app will support the synchronization features, 1-click buying, and other features of most of its Kindle applications.
