Opscode Trumpets Customer Count
Seattle-based Opscode, the developer of cloud infrastructure automation tools, said today that it now has over 3,000 organizations using its product, including music service Rhapsody, IGN Entertainment, and ETSY. The firm said the signups for the platform are all since its June 2010 launch. No financial details of the win have been announced, however, the firm said those usres are using its infrastructure for deployment and configuration management. Opscode announced the wins as part of a new release of its software. The firm is venture backed by Battery Ventures and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
