Bing Adds Photosynth App
Redmond-based Bing announced Monday that it has added a new official Photosynth app, which allows users to browse interactive panoramas on the serch engine. Photosynth, which is a project of Microsoft, and already integrated into Microsoft's Virtual Earth, allows users to connect together multiple photos of the same location, in addition to allowing users to navigate through those environments in 3D. Bing said the addition of Photosynth allows users to capture and share panoramas with friends via Bing Maps; the app is available on iTunes.
