Microsoft Inks Bing Deal With RIM
Microsoft said Tuesday that it has inked a deal with Research In Motion, the maker of the popular BlackBerry smart phone, to make Bing the preferred search provider on BlackBerry's browser. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Bing will also be the default map application and search provider for the new BlackBerry Playbook.
