Tippr Buys DealPop
Seattle-based Tippr, the group buying and deals technology provider run by Martin Tobias, said today that it has acquired DealPop, the social buying site run by WhitePages. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Tippr said the acquisition would help it grow its sales force. The two said they will continue to provide daily deals to DealPop subscribers, who will also begin seeing deals from the PoweredByTippr network.
