Report: Electronic Arts Bidder for PopCap
Video game firm Electronic Arts is the bidder for Seattle-based PopCap Games, according to reports from TechCrunch, citing unnamed sources. EA is reportedly looking to pay around $1 billion for PopCap, although neither company has confirmed reports of a deal. The acquisition rumors come as PopCap said today that it has launched Plants vs. Zombies for Xbox LIVE on the Windows Phone.
