Starbucks is reportedly in talks to help promote the smartphone game
Angry Birds, according to reports today.
In an interview with Bloomberg, a VP at Rovio Entertainment said the two firms are in talks to provide in-store promotion, virtual goods, and other efforts to boost the "Angry Birds" brand. Angry Birds--which involves flinging birds at obstacles, in a quest to squash a band of pigs--is an immensely popular game on the Apple iPhone, Android, and other smartphone and tablet platforms. The game was created by Rovio Entertainment.
