Wishpot Takes On Travel Deals
Seattle-based Wishpot, the online social shopping site headed by Max Ciccotosto, is expanding into travel today, saying it has launched a new Travel Channel and accompanying travel deals on the site. Wishpot said the new travel deals come via a partnership with PGR, Preferred Guest Resorts, an operator of a vacation resort network. The firms said they will feature several new destinations each month for Wishpot customers. Wishpot has been part of incubator Curious Office Partners, and is backed by such companies as Monster Venture Partners and H-Farm.
