Elemental Streams Pan American Games
Portland-based Elemental Technologies is deploying its video processing and transcoding products at the Pan American Games, the company said Tuesday. Elemental said that Latin American Internet service provider Terra is using the firm's products, to create high quality video streams for the 2011 Pan American games. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Elemental's products are being used to transcode live video to a variety of IP devices.
