EMC Isilon Wins University of Utah
EMC's Seattle-based storage division reported this week that it has scored a win at the the University of Utah Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI), for scientific computing, visualization and image analysis. According to EMC, its Isilon products are being used by the research group for network attached storage in its research. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. EMC acquired Isilon in November of last year.
