EMC Isilon Signs DigitalGlobe
EMC today said that its NAS products, EMC Isilon, have been selected by a provider of geospatial information services, DigitalGlobe, for a database of geographical information systems (GIS) data. The Isilon products, which are developed in Seattle, are being used to provide storage for DigitalGlobe's data, which includes 1.87 billion square kilometers of Earth imagery. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed.
