Amazon.com has launched its Kindle ebook reader in both Spain and Italy this morning, extending the distribution of its popular electronic book reader internationally. Amazon said the Spanish version of the Kindle initially includes 22,000 Spanish language Kindle books, including Catalan, Basque and Galician books, in addition to its current catalog of English and other language books. In Italy, Amazon said it includes 16,000 Italian language books. The respective Kindle devices for those countries area available on Amazon's country specific websites.
