TappIn Acquired By Globalscape
Seattle-based TappIn, formerly known as HomePipe Networks, has been acquired by file transfer software firm GlobalSCAPE. GlobalSCAPE said it paid $9M in cash plus up to $8M in earnout for TappIn. TappIn is a developer of mobile file sharing software, which allow users to access file stored on their office or home computers from iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows Phone. GlobalSCAPE said it will offer up TappIn's products as TappIn by GlobalSCAPE.
