Amazon Launches Update For Kindle Fire
Seattle-based Amazon.com released an update for the Kindle Fire last night, saying that the new update "enhances fluidity and performance" as well as touch navigation responsiveness of the device, in addition to other updates. The updates come as reports of some user frustration with the responsiveness of the Kindle Fire tablet. In addition to the performance issues, Amazon said its 6.2.1 update also provides ability to add a password lock on Wi-FI access. The over-the-air update is automatically being installed to the Kindle Fire.
