Portland Seed Fund Gets $200K More
The Portland Seed Fund, the seed investing fund backed by the City of Portland, has just scored $200,000 more in funding from the Portland Development Commission for its investment efforts. According to The Oregonian, the fund now has $3M to invest in promising startups. The fund invests in local entrepreneurs, investing $25,000 initially in promising companies, providing mentors, and then introducing them to other funding sources.
