InfoSpace Completes TaxACT Buy
Bellevue-based InfoSpace has completed its acquisition of tax software firm TaxACT, in a deal that was worth $287.5M. Infospace, which had announced the buy on January 9th, said it financed the deal with its cash on hand plus approximately $100M in debt. TaxACT provides online filing of federal and state taxes, and is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
