Microsoft Loses Exec To Activision
Microsoft veteran Dennis Durkin, who was most recently Corporate Vice President, Chief Operating and Financial Officer for the company's Interactive Entertainment Business--in charge of the Xbox--has left for game maker Activision Blizzard, Activision announced Monday afternoon. Durkin had been at Microsoft since 1999, and had worked as part of Microsoft's corporate development and strategy team. Activision Blizzard is a developer of computer games, and is based in Santa Monica, California.
