Clearwire Adds Cricket As LTE Customer
Bellevue-based Clearwire has finally added a second customer for its 4G, LTE network, as prepaid wireless firm Cricket said this morning that it will use Clearwire as part of its its 4G LTE network. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed, however, the addition of a new customer finally breaks the firm's LTE efforts beyond Sprint. Cricket is deploying its own LTE network, but will turn to Clearwire for capacity off-load services.
