Opscode Powers FeedMagnet
Seattle-based Opscode, the developer of cloud deployment and automation software headed by Mitch Hill, reported this morning that it is helping manage operations for FeedMagnet, a developer of social media management tools. Opscoe said that Feedmagnet has deployed its Opscode Hosted Chef software to automate its Rackspace-powered public cloud infrastructure. FInancial impact of the win was not disclosed. FeedMagnet is using Opscode's software to automate creation, management, and monitoring of cloud servers used in its service.
