PopCap Games Rolls Out Bejeweled Title In Japan
Seattle-based PopCap Games, the casual game developer behind the popular Bejeweled franchise, said this morning that it has rolled out a new Bejeweled title in Japan, Bejeweled Legend, for the Japanese mobile social gaming service GREE. The new title--which runs on Android and iOS--is the first time PopCap has self-published a game in Japan. The title was specifically built in Japan, for Japanse players, based on its existing Bejeweled franchise. PopCap said the title is the first designed and developed at its Tokyo studio.
