ESI Buys French Laser Firm
Portland-based Electro Scientific Industries, the manufacturer of laser-based, semiconductor tooling and equipment, said this morning that it has acquired EOLITE Systems, a French manufacturer of fiber lasers. ESI said it paid approximately $10M in cash for EOLITE. EOLITE is based in Pessac, France.
