Investments in Oregon and Washington were a mixed bag for Q2 of 2012, according to the PricewaterhouseCoopers/National Venture Capital Association MoneyTree report, based on data from Thomson Reuters. According to the report, a total of $244.4M was invested between Oregon and Washington for the quarter, up from $171.0M for the same quarter in 2011, but down from the $306.8M invested in Q1. Year to year, Washington rose, from $139.3M to $235.8M in the respective Q2 quarters; Oregon, however, dropped from $31.65M to just $8.6M in investments. Nationally, there was $7.04 billion invested in the quarter, down 12 percent from the $8.01 billion invested for the same period last year.
