Kent, Washington-based Naverus, a developer of aviation navigation technology, said this week that it has raised $4M in a funding round. The round was led by Foundation Capital and East Peak Partners. According to Naverus, the funding will go towards expanding its business. Naverus develops navigation software which helps aircraft reduce fuel consumption, as well as for enabling GPS-based aviation navigation which gets around current, ground-based navigation methods.
