NESL-USA Partners With Microinverter Firm
Tualatin, Oregon-based NESL-USA, a developer of photovoltaic solar panels and other products, said Friday that it is partnering with microinverter manufacturer SolarBridge Technologies. NESL-USA said the deal will provide an AC module system to its solar panels, which makes it easier to install panels under shade-prone conditions, and also reduces the cost of installations. Financial terms of the partnership deal were not disclosed. SolarBridge makes micro-inverters, which convert PV to AC power at the panel, reducing power loss and inefficiencies inherent in traditional PV installations.
