Seattle-based NetMotion Wireless, which develops virtual private network (VPN) and network performance management software, has been acquired. The firm was acquired by a private equity firm, Clearlake Capital Group, L.P., based in Santa Monica, California. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced by the company. NetMotion Wireless was headed by Bob Hunsberger.
