    Microsoft Rolls Out Geotagging Tools
    Redmond-based Microsoft said Thursday that it has rolled out two new products with geotagging support for the digital photo industry. Geotagging is the marking of digital photos with GPS location information, and is a way to organize and find photos. According to Microsoft, it has rolled out a new geotagging tool for free through its Microsoft Pro Photo Tools software; and, has also added geotagging to its Expression Media 2 digital asset management software.     Mentor Graphics Gets $140 In Credit Facility
    Wilsonville-based Mentor Graphics, a provider of software used for electronics design, said Friday that it has raised a $140M senior unsecured credit facility for the firm. The firm said the increase in its credit facility would allow it to increase its borrowing capacity. Bank of America Securities LLC and KeyBank National Association, along with U.S. Bank National Association and HSBC Bank USA NA were all involved in the financing.

    Amazon Sues New York Over Sales Tax Law
    Amazon.com has sued New York State, over a law which forces online retailers to collect sales tax on shipments to the state. Amazon filed the complaint last Friday in the State Supreme Court in Manhattan. The move comes after the approval of a section of the New York State Tax Law which requires Internet retailers -- including those who do not have a physical presence in the state -- to collect taxes on behalf of the state.
