![]() Wednesday, September 3, 2008 Amazon Links Video To Sony TVs Seattle-based Amazon.com said Wednesday afternoon that the firm has linked its Amazon Video On Demand service to Sony's BRAVIA television sets. According to Amazon, customers can now watch video titles from the site on Sony's BRAVIA Internet Video Link device. The device is used to stream Internet video content to Sony HDTVs. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Amazon has a similar deal with TiVo. DVD games, has been acquired by Paramount Pictures, Paramount said Tuesday. Paramount did not disclose financial terms of the deal. According to Paramount, Screenlife will remain as a stand-alone entity operating in Seattle, and will become a part of Paramount's Digital Entertainment unit, which is part of Paramount Pictures and responsible for development and distribution of digital content and videogames. posted on Wednesday, September 3, 2008(Full story) SecondSpace Names New CEO, Founder Pereira Leaves Bellevue-based SecondSpace, an online marketplace for vacation and second homes, said today that the firm has named Satbir Khanuja as the firm's President and CEO. Khanuja replaces founder and former CEO Anil H.P. Pereira, who the firm says is relocating to Silicon Valley. SecondSpace also said that Pereiera will continue to serve the company as a strategic advisor. The Kirkland, Wash.-based company said it has hired Hans-Hendrik Puvogel as general manager of its European operations. Puvogel, who previously was chief executive officer at Jentro Technologies, will oversee INRIX's European operations and business development activities from its new Euro headquarters in Dusseldorf, Germany. Integra said Lamb will be based out of its corporate offices in Portland, Ore., and will report to Dudley Slater, the company's chief executive officer.
