According to Infinity I-China Fund, the investment is part of a larger deal with Oberon Media to expand its casual game publishing and distribution business in China. According to the Seattle Times, in a report published Saturday, Entellium laid off "all but a handful" of its staff on Friday morning. The move comes shortly after Entellium lost its CEO and SVP of Finance earlier in the week. According to TriQuint, it has been chosen as a part of a 21-month contract to advance manufacturing methods for producing high-power, high-frequency gallium arsenide (GaAs) amplifiers. Triquint's chips are being used for applications such as phased array radar, electrnoic warfare, and advanced communications systems. According to a notice posted on the RealDVD web site, the service--which allows users to copy DVDs for playback on their PCs--is "temporarily unavailable" due to "recent legal action." The service, which is run by RealNetworks, only launched its service on September 8th, and just last week was sued, and sued a group of Hollywood studios over the service.
