    CrowdEye Tackles Twitter Search
    Seattle-based CrowdEye said yesterday that it has launched a new, real-time social search engine which tracks what people are saying on the popular, micro-messaging service Twitter. According to CrowdEye, its search results are built based on the "tweets" from Twitter, to discover popular links, tags, and history. The firm was founded by Ken and Becca Moss.     LiquidPlanner Raises $1.4M
    Bellevue-based LiquidPlanner, which is developing online, scheduling and project management software, has raised $1.4M in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm today. According to the filing, Voyager Capital's Geoff Entress and former Orbitz CEO Barnaby Harford sit on the firm's board; no details of the funding have been officially announced by the company.     Pelago Revs Whrrl
    Seattle-based Pelago has released an update to its iPhone social networking application, Whrrl, saying today that it has made a new 2.1 version of the software available to users. The software--which allows iPhone users to share photos, comment, and more--has strengthened its ties with social networking service Facebook and micro blogging site Twitter, and now allows users to add friends from either o the services directly from the application.     Ecohaus Nabs $2.6M In Debt Round
    Seattle-based Ecohaus, a retail supplier of green building supplies and materials, has nabbed $2.63M in a debt funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm today. No details on the source of the funding have been released. Ecohaus sells its products online, plus at stores in Seattle and Portland.

    Zoodango Becomes GeoPage.com
    Seattle-based Zoodango, originally a web site focused on business networking, has relaunched itself as GeoPage.com, saying this week that it will provide online local search and information about restaurants, hotels, and attractions.     RadiSys Ties On ATCA Products
    Hillsboro, Oregon-based RadiSys, a developer of embedded computing products, said Thursday that the firm has linked up with LCR Electronics, a manufacturer of ruggedized backplanes and chassis systems, on a deal to provide AdvancedTCA platform to the military, aerospace, and government.     TranSenda Releases Clinical Trial Management Software
    Bellevue, Washington-based TranSenda, a developer of software for the clinical trial market, said Thursday that the firm has created a new product focused on improving access to centralized clinical trial data.     Mentor Graphics Adds Distributor
    Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics, a developer of electronic design automation (EDA) software for the semiconductor industry, said this week that it has signed a new San Francisco Bay area distributor for its product line. EDA Direct will distribute the firm's various software products for electronic design, verification, and simulation. EDA Direct is located in Milpitas, and has been around since 1997; the firm specializes in sales and support of EDA software products.

    INRIX Gains Win With TomTom
    Kirkland, Washington-based INRIX, a provider of traffic information and data, said yesterday that the firm has been selected by GPS navigation provider TomTom. According to INRIX, it will provide live real-time traffic and fuel price information for North America to TomTom. Financial details of the relationship were not disclosed. TomTom will bundle INRIX data in its Map Share and IQ Routes features on its navigation units.
