    SafeHarbor Acquired By Private Equity Firm
    Seattle-base SafeHarbor Technology Corporation, a provider of software for managing inbound telephone, email, and chat requests, has been acquired by private equity firm Shackleton Equity Partners. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Shackleton Equity Partners, SafeHarbor will remain in Seattle, and will be managed by Greg Clark, the former President of the company.     Jott Upgrades Service, Looks For Referrals
    Seattle-based Jott, the online voice transcription and "to do" service now owned by Nuance, told its users today that it has released a new version of its software, and started a new, Refer-a-friend program. According to Jott, it has added a service--Salesforce Lite Jott Link--to update Salesforce to-do lists using voice messages; added recurring reminders; and a new "Voicemail Snapshot" service which sends a transcribed, text version of a voicemail "snapshot" to users via email or text m (More info...)

    DocuSign Signs Drawloop
    Seattle-based DocuSign, a developer of electronic signature software, reported today that it has been selected by Drawloop Technologies, a provider of document automation solutions. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. DocuSign said that Drawloop is integrating DocuSign for Salesforce into its Salesforce customer relationship management platform, as part of a contract management system.

    Big Fish Hires CFO, CTO
    Seattle-based Big Fish Games said late Wednesday that it has hired Michael Vernon as its Chief Financial Officer, and Ian Hurlock-Jones as its Chief Technology Officer, as the firm bolsters its leadership team. Vernon joins the company from Zumobi, where he was also CFO; he has also served at aQuantive, and within the hotel industry at Red Lion Hotels and Park Plaza International. Hurlock-Jones was most recently CIO at Fox Interactive Media.

    Amazon Launches PayPhrase
    Seattle-based Amazon Payments, the online payments arm of Amazon.com, said today that it has launched a new service called Amazon PayPhrase, which allows customers to create their own, phrase and PIN for paying for purchases on the web. According to Amazon, the new service provides a shortcut to paying for items on Amazon.com and other websites without sharing their payment information with other websites.
