    Newsvine Adds Presidential Polling Widget

Seattle-based Newsvine has rolled out a new Presidential polling feature for the site's users. Newsvine's new ElectionVine widget allows web site owners and bloggers to display their own live monthly U.S. Presidential poll, and allows their visitors to cast a vote for Presidential candidates. The service allows users to vote for either Republican or Democratic candidates, and creates an online report that aggregates and analyzes reports across all the bloggers including the firm's widget. Newsvine, which is backed by VC firm Second Avenue, operates an online news site that aggregates both blogs and news. The firm's CEO, Mike Davidson, was behind the hack of Senator John McCain's MySpace page in March of this year.
