Fans of the futuristic time travel movie Back to the Future can now get their hands on shoes based on the movie, Beaverton, Oregon-based Nike said today. Nike announced that it will auction off 1500 pairs of 2011 NIKE MAG shoes on eBay, as part of a benefit for the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The shoes--which were worn by character Marty McFly in Back to the Future II--feature a rechargeable, glowing LED panel. Nike said the eBay auction will go to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation,which is also receiving a $50 million dollar matching grant from Google founder Sergey Brin and his wife, Anne Wojcicki. The Michael J. Fox Foundation supports Parkinson's Research.
