Nintendo Launching Mini, Retro NES Gaming System

Wandering around the bushes playing Pokemon Go not for you? Do you wish for those days playing your Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in your parents basement? Well, Nintendo has the system for you. The company--which has been riding high with Pokemon Go this week--said it is launching a nostalgic, "mini-NES" system, complete with 30 built in retro games, which it will ship in November. Nintendo says the new NES Classic Edition will ship November 11th--just in time for the holidays--and will have a suggested retail price of $59.99. The company said the system is a "nearly identical"--albeit, tiny--replica of its original console game system, but which now features a HDMI interface and games such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, PAC-MAN, and Kirby’s Adventure. Nintendo's U.S. headquarters are in Seattle.
