    Obopay Selects iovation Fraud Prevention Tool


    Web fraud prevention software-as-a-service publisher iovation revealed today that Obopay, a service provider for payments via mobile phones, is using an iovation application to reduce the risk of online payment fraud. iovation said Obopay has selected iovation's flagship ReputationManager device-based fraud management service to identify devices that have been associated with fraudulent activity. iovation explained that ReputationManager is able to single out these devices without collecting any personally identifiable information. Obopay is headquartered in Redwood City, Calif. iovation is based in Portland, Ore.
