Omeros Raises $63M

Seattle-based Omeros announced today that it has raised over $63M in an oversubscribed Series E funding. The funding included new investors Aravis Ventures, ARCH Venture Partners, subsidiaries of American Financial Group, Grosvenor Funds, Novartis Venture Fund, Southern Cross Capital, Stanley Medical Research Institute, Trevi Health Ventures and WRF Capital. Prior investors also participted. Omeros is developing biopharmaceuticals targeted at a wide range of disorders. Jean-Philippe Tripet of Aravis has joined the firm as part of the funding.
