    ON Semiconductor Completes LSI Fab Acquisition


    Phoenix, Arizona-based ON Semiconductor has completed its acquisition of LSI Logic's Gresham, Oregon wafer fab business. The firm said Monday that the $105M acquisition has closed and that it has hired substantially all of LSI's manufacturing employees at the facility. ON Semiconductor is a provider of power semiconductors for the computer, cell phone, portable device, automotive, and industrial markets.
