OnRequest Images Hires CEO

OnRequest Images, a Web-based distributor of licensed photography and other imagery, reported Tuesday that it has hired Carla Stratfold as chief executive officer. The Seattle-based company said Stratfold will succeed founder David Norris, who will transition to his previously announced role as board chairman and chief strategy officer. OnRequest described Stratfold as a 20-year veteran of the enterprise software market. She most recently served as an officer and senior vice president at RealNetworks. Prior to that, she was vice president of business development for Backweb. She also spent 10 years at Oracle, ultimately rising to the level of vice president of product sales and marketing for North and South America.
