Orchestrate Acquired By CenturyLink

CenturyLink said today that it has acquired Orchestrate, the operator of a fully managed data service used for application development. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. CenturyLink said the buy would enhance its CenturyLink Cloud platform. Orchestrate co-founders and executive Antony Falco (CEO), Ian Plosker (CTO), and Dave Smith (VP of Engineering) join CenturyLink with the buy. Orchestrate was based in Portland, and was backed by around $3M in funding from such investors as True Ventures, Frontline Ventures, and Resonant Venture Partners.
