    Oregon Investment Fund Adds $50M In Funding


    Portland, Oregon-based The Oregon Investment Fund (OIF) and Credit Suisse announced today that the fund has raised $50M in additional capital from the the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund (OPERF). The Oregon Investment Fund is targeted at spurring new entrepreneurial businesses in Oregon and the Northwest, and makes venture capital and buyout investments in Oregon companies. The funding brings the company's total available capital to $156M. The Oregon Investment Fund was created in July 2003 by the Oregon State Legislature, and is managed by Credit Suisse's Customized Fund Invesment Group.
