    OVP Adds Weissman As Venture Partner


    Kirkland, Washington-based OVP Venture Partners said late last night that it has appointed Carl Weissman as a Venture Partner at the firm. Weissman will focus on investments in digital biology, and the convergence of IT, nanotechnology, and biotechnology. Weissman is currently President and CEO of Accelerator, a Seattle-based joint investment vehicle for a syndicate of venture capital investors. Weissman will continue on in his role at Accelerator.
