Papertrail Acquired By Solarwinds

Seattle-based Papertrail, a developer of cloud-based software for IT log management, has been acquired by Solarwinds in a deal worth $41M in cash. According to SolarWinds, it will use the buy to bolster its log management capabilities of its cloud product family. Papertrail is led by Troy Davis. The company's cloud service lets IT users manage the IT logs from any number of servers.
