Parallels Buys 2X Software

Renton-based Parallels said Wednesday that it has acquired 2X Software, a developer of application virtualization, remote application delivery, and mobile device software. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. 2X Software was based in Dallas, Texas. Parallels said it would use the acquisition to help bolster its Parallels Access and Parallels Desktop products.
