    Pathway Medical Names Rafferty Sales VP


    Pathway Medical Technologies Inc. reported today that it has hired Joseph W. Rafferty as its vice president of sales. Pathway said Rafferty will work from the company's new, larger facilities in Kirkland, Wash., and brings more than 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. Pathway added that Rafferty has held senior sales and marketing management positions with several companies, including ACS/Guidant, where he served as Midwest region sales manager and developed that company's price-per-procedure program. In the past six months, Pathway Medical Technologies has grown from 53 employees to 91. Nine months ago, it received $25 million in Series B venture capital financing.
