Seattle-based Pelago, maker of the Whrrl mobile social networking application, announced Thursday that the firm has added support for SMS and email to its service, along with inking a deal with digital camera card maker Eye-Fi. According to Pelago, users can now send simple SMS text messages or email to update their accounts on the service. The application supports a number of cell phones, including the Apple iPhone.
